Lack of accountabilty is not gender-based. For example, the vast majority of dead-beat parents drowning states and tax-payers with welfare costs and procedural burdens are men. And, "victim mentality" is also non-gender based. Just visit a male prison population. These behaviors are human behaviors. If we are to address them wisely and effectively to the benefit of society rather than merely use them in gender tit-for-tats, we need to try to understand their HUMAN behavioral and cultural etiologies. Lack of accountability is a huge issue in sociology today.
