Question If I went out & bought more Ammunition today for my Guns Why would it still not be enough ammo.?

I just spent $200.00 on ammunition this morning & still feel that it was not enough. How much ammo should I have, is 1,000 - 2,000 rounds enough because I really think that I need more. How would 8,000 - 10,000 rounds be or should I have more then that ?
