According to the latest news, most Americans aren't gonna spend their rebate check?

Past behavior often is a strong indicator of future behavior, and I will wager most Americans who get the extra cash will indeed spend the money. Yes, we all have good intentions, but I know most of us will be buying or spending on something. Sure, some will say their going to pay off debt, but most will just spend the bill money that they were gonna use on some thing they want or need! I know I'll be using mine for a summer vacation. I intend to spend every red cent that I get back! I hope you all do the same! Can we all at least be honest about this? Sure if you can pay off some debt be sure to do it, but this notion that some how were all of sudden going to become a nation of savers is just a bunch of hot air! some how the majority of money given back will end up providing a boost to the economy! We need more tax breaks like this one!
