Help to get a Pet Rat!?

Take her to a breeder or a pet store and ask to hold and see the rats, let her hold and pet one, you don't have to buy one right then and there but allowing her to persoanlly get to touch and see one might get her over her "fear" of a pet rat. Make sure she knows you need two as they should have a friend, a breeder would be better as they tend to be more handled then a pet store, but just letting her see how sweet they are would be better then a thousand power point presentation, books, or any literature articles combined.
