I need serious Help with my G1?

i was messin around with my Pattern, (i know my pattern, i just like to mess with it) and i locked my self out. i accidently pressed forgot pattern and now i need to put in my Gmail username and pword. i dont know that stuff i forgot!! is there anyway i can go back to the pattern screen??
