How can a woman be straight when she finds men less visually attractive?

Do you know the age and cultural background of the participants in Meredith Chivers' research? It wouldn't surprise me if they were all or mostly all North American women of generation X. Much of what you say about women in general (narcissistic, more focused on being desired than attracted to anyone else) really DOES apply to those women but it doesn't apply to a lot of other women.
