Need help choosing guinea pig!?

Your best bet is to keep the female baby as she and her mom will always get along just fine, when you start mixing male and female you always have to have 2 cages as you can't keep them together. I have 2 females in the same cage and it is so nice to hear them talk to each other, they have this darling song they sing to each other, I do not know why it has never been listed as normal sounds guinea pigs make.
