Is the Caribbean unbearably hot and humid in the Summer?

I can't stand any temperature over 75 degrees F. But it is very humid where I live (GA). Is the Caribbean more bearable than Summers in GA? Is it less humid? I've heard hot weather is more bearable when it is less humid.
