Can an Architectural Engineer do some work as a Civil Engineer?

I plan to go straight for Architectural Engineering, and eventually, graduate with a masters. Once I do, I want to be able to do work for large buildings, either homes or industrial. I also want to do work on bridges and other things that civil engineers do. Is this possible, or do I need to have a degree in Civil Engineering as well.
